Okay, let’s get into the Ten questions for Oghamyst!

𝟭. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆?

I'm from the city of joy - Kolkata, India. When I get some free-time out of my hectic academician schedule I'm into making music, playing PC games, reading sci-fi books, gardening :)

𝟮. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰/𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Mainly self-interest! Western music alongside Indian and Eastern music always had an equal preference in our family, but I gradually leaned towards and connected more with Western music, mainly due to the originality and diversity of styles found in modern Western music.

𝟯. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀?

Celebrity wise there are so many, but I have to mention Enrique Iglesias, Adrian Sina (Akcent) and Taylor Swift. I just love their music, mostly their earlier songs. I also currently liking Zedd's music. An artist needs a personality and charisma besides from just musical talent, so yes there are many others also, who are around me or I know of who influence me with their personalities and good character :)

𝟰. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰?

I started writing poems as early as maybe when I was 12-13 years old. Then was more into making videos on sports, PC games. After high school, during college time (post 2012), I got to know of FL Studio and I started making remakes of contemporary hit songs in my unique styles. Then eventually, during lockdown, I started to write original songs in English, Bengali and Hindi languages and started producing original music too.

𝟱. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆?

It's pretty hard to set a goal, for the current situation and the music industry, but yeah definitely, want to be heard and be a supportive, collaborative and successful artist :)

𝟲. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲?

I'm not much of a performer, since I make music electronically, mostly! If I had to, I would perform anywhere and for anyone, who would like and appreciate my stuff :)

𝟳. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴?

On Top Of You by Enrique Iglesias! Don't know how many times I have listened to the song, can't get enough of it. Just love the sweet synth work and the overall vibe and tune of the song :)

𝟴. 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?

Well, I am unable to remember anything lately, but maybe this whole pandemic situation is an embarrassment for all of us, altogether?

𝟵. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?

Apart from being an aspiring songwriter and music producer, I'm an academician! I hold bachelor's and master's degree in Microbiology and doing my Phd also now! :)
