Okay, letโs get into the Ten questions for Machine Messiahs!
I'm living in the southernmost county of Sweden, called Skรฅne. Have been since the mid 80ies, when I went there to get a university degree. My hobbies? Well, music has got to be one of them, both producing and consuming, but I'm also very interested in literature and I'm learning how to build guitars.
The first punk wave was conquering the music world, so me and four mates decided that the world needed another punk rock band. Obviously, the world didn't, but it was the start of my music career...
Iggy Pop - "the godfather of punk", still going strong after all those years. Kraftwerk - my first ever proper contact with electronic music, even though they had flutes and stuff in the early days. Jean-Jacques Burnel - bass player extra ordinaire of The Stranglers, and since I started out as a bass player, well, go figure.
The first song I was involved in creating saw the light of day in 1978. I am not 100% sure it qualifies as "music", but there you are...
To keep on making music for as long as I live. In the meantime, I'd like as many people as possible to hear it because who knows? Someone might like it.
Dalhalla (you might wanna google that) at night - that would be so cool.
I listen to loads of music, and I find it extremely hard to name just one song... But since you insist, I will say The Passenger by Iggy Pop. Why? It's a lovely tune, created and performed by one of my favourite artists of all time, that's why.
I've had quite a few such moments in my life, but how about this one: I was playing at a show one night, and was trying to look cool by posing on my knees... well, the stage ended and I fell off.
I have grown up kids who have turned into really nice human beings. That is something to be proud of in my book.
Vince Clark, Jean-Jacques Burnel, Iggy Pop and me, because what could possibly go wrong in such a collab?

Dalhalla looks amazing. Bet the acoustics are sweet there.
I resonate with that make music as long as I live (till I die ha ha).
