𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?

I am from Alfonso, Cavite here in the Philippines and I really love to arrange and write music. Other than that, I really love eating and going out to travel whether in or out of town (with caution of course).

𝟮. How did your get into music?

When I was young, like elementary days young. I have this musical keyboard just sitting in our house, then I just randomly pressed the keys and it sounded really interesting, whenever I hear an ice cream's music outside, the sound of the Christmas lights, I try to imitate it on the keyboard and eventually mastered mimicking what I hear, going into high school I tried to learn how music production works and used DAW for the first time. It's kinda hard to learn considering my lack of knowledge in computer things but I still managed to make my own beat for the first time, then I went to college to learn further and finish my degree in Music Technology/Production. Finally graduated in 2020 and the rest is history.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

I would say k-pop groups are the bigger influences (specifically Red Velvet and gugudan) because of their catchy music and memorable melodies. That's why I brand myself as an artist with different genre, concept and/or vibe per release because that's what k-pop group do. They change concepts and stories per comeback. But I would say my biggest influence is Adam Young or Owl City. He is known for making music in his bedroom, doing the works all on his own, with these magical like synths and lyrics it's really amazes me. So I really wanted to be him but with my own style.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

My goal is to be a well-known artists when it comes to genre-fluidity. Listeners and fans with different genres that will appreciate and love the songs I release. That all my releases will be enjoyed for everybody. I'm not really aiming for super star recognition, I just want to share music, squeeze the fan's emotions with my songs whether it will be happy, sad or angry.

5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?

I only performed live ONCE in my whole 6 years of being a musician because I chose to be more like a musician in music platforms only, but I would really love to perform in Mall of Asia Arena, Kia Theater and Araneta Coliseum. When I have a chance to perform outside the Philippines, I would like to perform in US in New York, Madison Square Garden. After all, it's free to dream right? 😉

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

My all-time favorite song is my own song "Dear Self". It's quite weird to put myself on the pedestal, but I wrote this song for my birthday, to remind myself that I'm not alone in this world and people love you for who you are.

7. Most embarrassing moment?

Honestly I am a thick skinned guy so I don't get embarrassed easily, but I will share my experience where most people would feel embarrassed. I fell on the stairs while performing the national anthem on a prestigious theater (CCP Main Theater), but again after the performance, we went backstage and just laugh it out with my friends. It didn't affect my confidence and kept on going. Some audience actually commended me for being professional.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

My accomplishments are quite simple but very impressive. I graduated college with high grades, three of my songs accumulated 150,000+ streams on Spotify and proving the people who underestimated me wrong. Now they listen to my songs. It's a big accomplishment for me.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

I am not really a fan of songs that are so popular. I listen on repeat to those songs I really enjoy listening to despite its popularity. Even though most people say that particular song is a flop, if I enjoy listening to that song, I will listen to it on repeat. Basically it doesn't matter who the artists is, as long as your music is enjoyable to listen to then I good with it. 😁

𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?

My dream collaboration would be collaborating with a K-Pop group. Their music inspired me in the first place. So proving myself that I can produce a song for k-pop artists will the greatest and most fulfilling accomplishment that I'll ever do.
