𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?

I'm from Izium, a small town in Ukraine. Besides making music, I like to spend hours on the Internet, watching millions of live performances of favorite bands, hanging out with friends, sometimes playing computer games, and so forth. Nothing special to be honest. I adore some medieval or fantasy settings, they inspire me a lot.

𝟮. How did your get into music?

When I was a child, I always wanted to create something. However, music was something complicated to me as I never visited any music classes. However, everything's changed when I discovered Nirvana. Kurt Cobian showed me that playing guitar and singing simultaneously is easy. So, from this point, my parents bought me a guitar and I started writing music.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

At the early stages, I was highly inspired by grunge/ 90's alternative rock music. Besides obvious Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains, I was a fan of Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Smashing Pumpkins, and lots of other great music.

Later, step by step I started to discover classic rock and old-school music. There were a lot of amazing bands I was listening to, but the main influence was Pink Floyd. I spend a whole year listening to all the stuff of this legendary band.

Nevertheless, for now, I'm most interested in the indie rock scene. The key to such a kind of music was a band called The Vines. It was a great mix of grunge and indie rock that I instantly fall in love with. After that, I discovered Arctic Monkeys. They still one of the main bands that still influence me a lot. I was a fanboy of this band reading all the interviews and watching all existing live performances available on YouTube. Alex Turner mentioned The Strokes as his favorite band a lot of times, so decided to check them out as well. Since then, The Strokes are my favorite band as well as their solo projects. I think Julian Casablancas is a real genius.

Among other great bands/artists that inspire me right now are Catfish and the Bottlemen, Queen, My Chemical Romance, David Bowie, and so on.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

I wish Homeless Radio become big. First of all, it would be a great chance to give shows all around the world. Secondly, it would provide a possibility to make more quality music without any genre boundaries. To be honest, I like almost all kinds of music and listen to a lot of interesting genres besides rock. In my opinion, trap is great. It would be cool to mix it all and record something absolutely unique without any risk of failure in production.

5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?

My dream is to give a show on T in the Park. It's a great and big platform full of positive energy. Every time I'm watching lives from T in the Park, the crowd is very happy. Isn't it the best thing in the world?

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

Ize of the World by The Strokes. It's a perfect mix of nice and interesting melodies and deep lyrics. Another thing I like is the interaction of melody and sense of the song. The track could become weird, but maestro Casablancas made it just a perfect song full of great hidden gems.

7. Most embarrassing moment?

There were several times when our show was stopped in the middle of the setlist. In my opinion, it's absolutely embarrassing and disrespectful. Hope that will never repeat again.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

The release of our debut EP The Truth this year. To be honest, all the songs were written long before the release, so I highly accomplished they are finally out. Besides, the positive feedback from listeners really means a lot to me. It motivates a lot.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

I spend very little time on music. During the last few years, I prefer to write songs immediately catching the idea. Due to the job, I don't listen to music often. Nevertheless, it brings me much more joy listening to my favorite tracks now.

𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?

There are three persons I'd like to collaborate with. The first one is Julian Casablancas. I don't care what he wants to create, I just want to be a part of it. The second one is Alex Turner. This guy is a master genre mix that I adore. The last one is Van McCann. We like similar music, so it would be great to create something with such a cool guy!
