𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?

Born and raised in Terra Alta, WV. Hobbies include anything music related, started learning music production in 2020, started releasing songs in January 2021

𝟮. How did your get into music?

My father was in a bluegrass band when I was young, and was a big classic rock fan, he passed his guitars down to me and I proceeded to jam for the next 2 decades. Founded and was guitarist and Songwriter for Punk/Metal band Badger Fight from 2007 until the band ended in 2020.

I then set out to learn the recording and production side of things, founded my current project, Hillbilly Headspace and began releasing tracks from my debut electronic EP Trilogy "ElectroChemical Reality Interface Pt 1-3" in January 2021. Since the completion of that release, I've continued releasing a song every week on Spotify with a goal of 52 songs in 52 weeks for 2021.

Currently I am alternating releasing songs from my 2nd electronic album "In Parallel" and tracks from my metal album titled "The Final Gateway" which was originally supposed to be an eponymous record for Badger Fight had we not broken up.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

Well my playlist of influences on Spotify has over 1000 tracks, but to narrow it down to Biggest, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Tool, The Damned Things, Bad Religion, Wes Borland, Soundgarden, Linkin Park, Everclear, Third Eye Blind

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

Well this project got kind of a late start, so myself being 36, as much as I possibly can until I physically can't do it anymore. If I can't breakout as a musician than maybe as a producer or mix engineer.

5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?

Any big music festival, whether it be for my electronic music or my metal material once I'm able to assemble a touring band

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

My first "favorite" song was Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind, possibly the pinnacle of catchy pop rock songs. Once I got into heavier music I would have to say either Creeping Death or Master of Puppets by Metallica

7. Most embarrassing moment?

Luckily I haven't had any major mishaps with music as far as embarrassing live performances. So less embarrassing for me personally as much as the band but watching Badger Fight fall apart because... Orange Man Bad...

8. Proudest accomplishment?

So far with Hillbilly Headspace, reaching 10,000 streams across my top 3 platforms, (Spotify, Audius, and Lum.fm) and soon my top Spotify track will hit 500 streams. Sounds less than mediocre I know, but I enjoy celebrating the little victories, and in my first year, not too bad for a random Hillbilly recording music in his kitchen while raising 2 toddlers who are constantly raising hell.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

Music, both as a fan and as a musician and Songwriter has saved my life on numerous occasions. My 30s began with the loss of my first daughter to a heart defect at just 83 days old, and if I didn't have music to channel that emotional firestorm into, it's highly unlikely I would still count myself among the living. The album title "The Final Gateway" is from lyrics I wrote detailing that loss, and the song from In Parallel titled "Hazy May" is dedicated to her, my Daisy Mae.

𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?

That's tough, most who would be at the top are gone now, Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington, Layne Staley... Honestly it would probably with some young up and coming artists nobody has ever heard of
