𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?
Hi! I’m from Goa, a state from India. I like video editing in my free time and I’m also self learning skateboarding. Drawing and editing pictures are also some of the things I enjoy doing.
𝟮. How did your get into music?
I was always a fan of music but I really got into music when I was 9 years old. When I was in 3rd grade in school we had some sort of school clubs every weekend in school. There were different types of clubs and the music clubs they had were drums, keyboard and guitar. So I started attending keyboard clubs in school and that’s when I actually started learning an instrument. I never thought that playing music would make me feel so good about myself honestly.
𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?
My biggest influence is Aneesh Gera. He’s a Goan DJ and producer. When I first spoke to him, he was very polite and calm unlike some other famous producers who just end up ignoring they’re fans. His music is amazing and he’s also a good person which makes him the person I would want to be like.
4. What are your goals in the music industry?
My goals in the music industry would be to perform a lot and be recognized for my music. Probably get featured in some DJ mag. I mean I’m still a 14 year old so I have a lot to learn yet.
5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?
I would love to person at the Sunburn Festival. It’s the biggest EDM festival in Asia. And I’m sure thousands of EDM artists would like to perform there. People like The Chainsmokers, Marshmello and KSHMR have performed there. It’s held in Goa itself.
6. What is your all-time favorite song?
My all time favourite song would be Paper thin by Illenium, Tom Delonge and A&A. The vocals and the synths in that song are just amazing honestly. That songs has a really good vibe to it and I could just keep listening to it the whole day without getting tired of it.
7. Most embarrassing moment?
There was this one time in school, we had a dance performance in school. We had to wear traditional Indian Punjabi clothes and dance in front of 400 parents. So the teacher made me stand in front of everyone and the scarf which I had worn got stuck on my dress and half of it fell to the ground. I didn’t have the time to pick it up and wear it properly again so some kid stepped on the scarf and I got pulled down at the stage floor. For me it was definitely one of my most embarrassing moments since I was in the spotlight and I ruined it and everyone had it recorded on their cameras. Anyway when I think of it now I have a good laugh about it.
8. Proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment is being one of the highest ranked keyboardist in the state of Goa for 3 years straight. Every year I have to answer trinity exams for keyboard and my marks are compared with other keyboardists, and I’ve been one of the highest ranked keyboardists since I started answering those exams.
9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?
This answer is related to the last one. As I said I’m one of the highest ranked keyboardists in my state, but actually I’m ranked no. 1 in my state and I don’t think any of the people who know me know that fact. I have been at no. 1 for about 4 years now. They know that I’m good at keyboard but they just never knew the rank haha.
𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?
My dream collaboration would be with Illenium. His music is definitely one of my favorites. Sometimes I watch his live streams and stuff on YouTube or twitch and I think to myself that this is someone I would love to collab with someday.
