1. Tell us a little about where you are from and what you are currently doing.

So my real name's Alex. A business student, Artist, and a fashion influencer. At the moment I am still a faceless and mostly anonymous music artist. A lot of information about my private life such as my location, family etc is still hidden from my fans who've been following me for a while, and I do intend to keep it that way. The only thing I am interested in representing right now is my music and art.

2. What inspired you to start playing and making music?

Starting out as a lead dancer in my dance crew named "HB-Boyz" in 2015 I made my first appearance on YouTube. We got into stage performances uploaded content on the channel and did some dance shows that had a small fan base supporting us. But doing that for 2 years I started to realise I had no real passion for it I couldn't get serious about it no matter how hard I tried so I made a tough choice and finally decided to drop out the crew. Later in 2017, I hit a low point in my life. I didn't feel like things were working out for me which made me get into a depressing state, I started to distance myself from people close to me, shutting myself in my room I started avoiding going out unless I really needed to. I didn't have much to do so I started listening to music, got into some deep Hiphop and Alternative music artists who made me suddenly click. In early 2018 I tried doing some cover songs, yeah I was pretty bad at it but for some reason I fell in love with the process of making music so I started to work on the craft, research more about it practice with beats and finally decided to write my first song and record it from my home. Even though it wasn't the best-sounding track lol it did give me motivation to improve. In later 2018 I started experimenting with different sound, vocal styles and beats developing a unique style of dark music.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

When it comes to influences I'd say XXXtentacion, Lil Wayne, Linkin park, NF, and BONES are some artists whose music really clicked with me.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

Most of the music nowdays is getting repetitive and the type of music I do is still considered a subgenre in the Hiphop music industry and it never gets the attention it deserves. My goal would be to make this as mainstream as possible which will eventually help other underground artists in the same genre showcase their talent and what they could bring to the table if given a chance.

5. Tell us about your creative process when you make new music.

I usually use really dark and grungy beats for my music, I experiment with different styles and sounds with my vocals. I try my best to make every track have a different and unique vibe to it.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

[The Fray- How to save a life and Mirror by Lil Wayne] it's mostly the lyrics that connect with me on so many different levels.

7. What is the best advice you have either given or received in terms of music?

My advice to someone starting out would be to save up as much as you can. Follow your instincts, if you feel like you really wanna do it then go for it full force and never look back. Never let others put you down, take hate as a means to improve your craft and move forward.

Being an Artist is never going to go away, So you might as well do the best you can and give it your all before you die.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

Hitting a million+ streams in the first year of uploading music without any promo, Collabs, and knowledge of the industry as an upcoming newbie artist really motivated me to set higher and hit bigger goals.

9. Just for fun! What's been your most embarrassing moment so far?

So I went to this new cafe around the block and my dumbass tried pulling the door open instead of pushing it inwards. Got awkward real quick cause of the stares I got. And that wasn't the worse part, it was me spilling the coffee on the backpack I was carrying around which had my laptop in it. (Swear I am never going to that cafe again smh)

𝟭0. Tell us about your lowest and highest points in music so far.

I'd say my highest point was when I started getting results for the work I was putting in, which kept me motivated.

The lowest point would be in 2022, had some family-related drama and college stuff to deal with which made me lose focus on music for a year.

But hey that's life and I take this all as a learning cause it made me learn new things so yeah, I have no regrets as long as I have my pen, we good.
