We are five guys from northern Germany. Our common hobby is creating music the exceeds expectations compared to what's around in our region. This means: a crossover between different music genres, mixing up all kinds of styles and creating something that's never been there before. What's our hobby? Igniting people's passion for music!

As can be expected from five different personalities, everyone of us has a different background story. We all started with listening to different kinds of music. This is why there are so many influences in our music: metal, rap, punk, alternative, ... you name it!
๐ฏ. ๐ช๐ต๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ด๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ณ๐น๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐?
The first and oldest influence is Rage Against the Machine. Besides that, we have different and rather spontaneous influences that can change on a weekly basis. On one Tuesday, Vincent might come in and have some ideas based on German rap music. On another Tuesday, Malte might come by and bring his latest discovery from the Punkrock market. Reik has also brought influences from Rammstein with him - a totally new aspect to our music (if you want a more detailed list: Such a Surge, Dendemann, Swiss und die Anderen, Ferris MC, Hed P.E., KoRn, ...).

The band started back in 2011. Back then, we had a different style with different people: More Punkrock elements and English lyrics. As music does in general, Fin the Chef has also been evolving over the course of time. So the question can be answered with another question: How often can you actually begin making music? With every new member, we had a new beginning.

Our goal is to create music that tells people our stories. We want to reach those people and fascinate them during a concert. We want to get out of our local region and travel to different destinations with different crowds. In the end, we might even end up selling one or two records.

Give us a location and we play it. Bring some friends, and we'll even enjoy it. It doesn't matter where - it doesn't matter when. Currently, the only thing that does matter is THAT we play.

A few years ago, we had a big concert. There were more people than at any other concert before that. So we composed an intro, structured a track that was supposed to fuel the crowd with excitement. First, the drummer entered the stage and he began playing. Then the others joined him and built up the tension. At some point, the plan was the the entire band stops playing except for the lead guitar. By adding some Wha-Wha-action to it, the atmosphere was supposed to be perfect. BUT: The pedal didn't work. Instead of enjoying an excellent break with a sick guitar riff, the entire room was dead silent. Then, the laughing started - but by the band itself.

We are proud to say that we have managed to produce our album without any external help - a complete DIY-project. With a lot of work, a little bit of money (or a bit more...) and a few helping hands, we were able to create a roughly 45 minute long album. Besides that, we were able to create a few videos.

We are still waiting for an answer by Pink and Miley Cyrus. It appears that they're utterly busy at the moment, but maybe - some day - they might text back and accept our invitation. Then what? We'll see about that...
