𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?

I'm from Barrie, Ontario Canada, It's about an hour North of Toronto. My hobbies are basically creating music. I spent so many years doing other things, now I want to focus on music.

𝟮. How did your get into music?

When I was a kid, many years ago, I heard The Beatles and that was it. I wanted to do that. They just seemed like magic to me, they still do. As I discovered more music artists it was like I was discovering music all over again. Music is the only thing in my life that can change my mood instantly. If I am having a bad day and The Who's, The Seeker or The Clash's Police on my Back, comes on, my problems dissolve while I'm listening to them. Music is my anti depressant.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

See above answer. The Beatles, The Who, The Clash. Any Band with The in the name, I'm probably going to like it. I love The Black Keys, Muse are excellent and look they don't have The in their name. I'm evolving.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

I really don't like attention at all. It took me forever to take pictures for my website and bio because I'm a very private person so this is the wrong business for me but I do want as many people to hear my songs as possible. So to answer the question I would love to have as much attention paid to the songs as possible while no one knows who I am. Making a few bucks from it would be nice as well.

5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?

I think playing an outdoor festival would be so much fun. Three or four of your best songs and you're finished. Then you get to hang out and party. A few years ago I was at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland that was fun. Maybe Lollapalooza, but any one of them would be a blast.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

This changes daily, today I choose Life on Mars by David Bowie. That song does something to me. I've never really listened to the lyrics or learned the chords to see why it makes me feel sad but it's just so bloody good.

7. Most embarrassing moment?

About three years ago I was on vacation. I got a email from the cover band I was in. When I got back from Italy I had to learn 26 songs in about 3 days. Some people would say, yes a challenge, I love it. I'm not like that, I just sweated for 3 days hoping and praying that I could remember everything. So we have this backyard gig, our first one together. We start playing and I cannot remember the chords after the main riff. So of course I look at the guitar the singer is playing to see what the chords are. He's really into it and is moving around and I'm only getting every third or fourth chord trying to make them bend into the next chords that I have completely blanked on. At the end of the song I looked at the bass player in disgust because that's what your supposed to do. Right? I was better after the first song but I was really embarrassed.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

Besides my kids, I would say getting these songs completed and released. I've been sitting on these songs for a while and they always took a back seat to other things that were happening in my life. So I am pretty proud that I got them out. I mixed them as well which is something I had no clue about doing when I started.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

I'm a pretty shy guy. Some people take that as an ego thing but I'm just quiet. I really hate the spotlight. I'd rather stand back and contemplate my next move. This was a hard question to answer.

𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?

I'd say Paul McCartney but I would be such a blithering idiot. There is no way he would be able to deal with me. I LOVE YOU PAUL (sobbing)!

I think I'd like to collaborate with a guy like Dan Auerbach. I think a lot of our influences would be similar and we would create some cool music. I love the Black Keys.
