1. Tell us a little about where you are from and what you are currently doing.

Hello, my name is Beanboy and I’m a music artist based in Los Angeles. When I’m not working the 9-5, I’m either at home writing music, creating Instagram reels, or at the studio recording my next hit. I’m a versatile artist that touches many different genres such as Rap, Pop, Reggaeton, R&B and more.

2. What inspired you to start playing and making music?

One of my friends from high school pitched the idea to me that we should compose music together as a duo. At first, I didn’t think much of it and just did it for fun, but after writing more and more tracks, it developed as a love and passion for me. That’s when I decided I wanted to do this for the rest of my life and hopefully make a career out of music.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

When it comes to the genre of rap, I’m mainly inspired by Drake. His wordplay, compelling flows, and rhyme schemes definitely planted a seed for me.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

My main number one goal is to make a living off of my music and to be recognized as the most versatile artist in the world, who’s able to make music from every genre that comes to mind.

5. Tell us about your creative process when you make new music.

I’m always writing music at home while sitting on my couch and playing beats that I come across on YouTube. Typically, it takes me 3-4 hours to produce one song, which might seem too slow to some, but that’s because I ensure that my music if full of thought and quality.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

My all time favorite track has to be “All of Me” by John Legend. Music that consists of so much emotion always has a place in my heart.

7. What is the best advice you have either given or received in terms of music?

The best advice I’ve been given is to never give

up and to keep going no matter what. I know that’s a pretty basic piece of advice to give, but I’ve seen so many artists who put the pen down just a couple of months into their careers.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

My proudest accomplishment is when I performed on stage for the first time in front of many. I was beyond nervous and it was something that was way out of my comfort zone. I had the time of my life performing one of my most popular songs with an energetic and supportive crowd. Definitely a memory I’ll never forget.

9. Just for fun! What's been your most embarrassing moment so far?

My most embarrassing moment was when I rapped for the first time in front of my friends! I was so bad and they all clowned me for how horrible I was! I’m so glad I improved vastly since then!

𝟭0. Tell us about your lowest and highest points in music so far.

My lowest points were the times when I felt like I wanted to quit making music because it may not be for me. At the end of the day, I know that these are my demons trying to get to me, and I remind myself that they can never prevail.

My highest points in music have to be every single time I hit a stage and perform. There’s no feeling like it and it’s a certain vibe that can’t be replicated.
