1. Tell us a little about where you are from and what you are currently doing.

From Lake Worth, FL, Dominic is a singer/songwriter who’s debut album “The Marrow In My Bones” was released September of 2021

2. What inspired you to start playing and making music?

I’ve always loved music, growing up in a very musical household. I remember going to my first concert (BB King and Jeff Beck) and immediately a light switch flipped and I thought “Yup, I’ll be doing that”. Since that day I’ve been working towards a career in music and I’m finally at a point where the majority of my income comes from my art.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

Frank Turner, The Gaslight Anthem, The Menzingers, NOFX, Flogging Molly, The Dropkick Murphys amongst others.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

To be able to travel and make a living playing shows. I love seeing the world and sharing my music with new people.

5. Tell us about your creative process when you make new music.

Writing songs is sort of like getting a picture of lightning striking. It takes loads of practice to write something that I’m proud of and comfortable releasing. I tend to write all the time but very few of the songs ever see the light of day.

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

Today it’s “Four Simple Words” by Frank Turner

7. What is the best advice or council you have either given or received in terms of music?

Best advice I’ve been given is “play hard, play honest”. Never fails. I think it rings true when it comes to writing and DEFINITELY rings true when it comes to playing shows.

8. Proudest accomplishment?

To date I’ve played 246 live shows across the continental US, mainly on DIY tours. I’m super proud of the tours I’ve put together. If you want to tour, don’t wait around for someone to do it for you, book it yourself.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

I’m scared of flying but do it anyway to go play shows. I don’t really show that I’m scared but inside I’m terrified of planes. I’m actually flying to Nashville this month for another show!

𝟭0. Tell us about your highest and lowest points in music so far.

Highest point is today, I’m very proud of everything I’ve accomplished and the shows I’ve played. The lowest point was probably the pandemic and being unable to perform
