Okay, let’s get into the Ten questions for Bokeh!

The following interview was originally in Spanish, but translated into English

𝟭. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆?

The band originally began to take shape in Punta Alta (Buenos Aires, Argentina), which is where Mauro (our Guitarist and Vocalist) lives, after a year, we decided to move the rehearsals to Bahía Blanca, (Buenos Aires, Argentina) since the most of the members in the band lived there Although everyone has their own hobbies, perhaps the strongest, and the one that unites us all, is making music together. It is not only a hobby but also our ground.

𝟮. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰/𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The four of us started creating music when we were very young. I think that the desire to experiment with sounds was always present in each of the members. Additionally, we had musical experiences before Bokeh, this enriches our band.

𝟯. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀?

In matters of influences we are very varied, as each of the members comes from projects of different

genres. The great thing about this is that we can be influenced by sounds that we later transfer to our work in an unexplained way. That can be noticed when listening to one of our albums, there are nods to a lot of styles, rock, pop, jazz, electronic, shoegaze, math rock, and an endless list of genres. That happens because we are very open when it comes to listening to music. But if we have to name a particular artist who has influenced our sound as a band, it is Cornelius.

𝟰. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰?

Bokeh began making music in 2016. We have released EP's since then. However, our band just released our first album "Piel" this year.

𝟱. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆?

Our goals are to keep making music and to spread it, to reach as many people as possible. Always playing with the visual. After the virus, we hope we can present our latest album live and start working on the next one.

𝟲. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲?

We are not exquisite, any place where they want to listen to us and receive us will be perfect for us, but if it is about dreaming, being able to play in England would be a very important achievement for the band.

𝟳. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴?

We all have very different tastes in music, so it is difficult to answer this question. It could be any of our album 'Piel' ... because we are proud of the result achieved from total self-management, there is a lot of work behind us behind those songs and that is enough to make them our favorites.

𝟴. 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?

In one of our last shows (before the pandemic), the stage was made of wood and it moved a lot, that made the electronic drum stand wobble and random sounds were triggered by the vibrations throughout the first song. When we finished it, we decided to turn it off in order to continue.

𝟵. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?

We are quite a young band but our greatest achievement is creating this wonderful work in a dynamic and safe space to express ourselves and, of course, make something we

only dreamed of come true.

𝟭𝟬. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲?

We are lucky to have had two very talented artists: Tomas Molto (Píllpelet) and Fernando Blanco (Valle de Muñecas / Siempre es Medianoche) for our latest release "Piel". On the other hand, teaming up with any of our influences would be a dream come true! "
