𝟭. Where are you from and what is your hobby?

Andres hails from a Mar del Plata, Argentina. His hobbies include talking about himself in third person, watching movies on a daily basis, swimming, playing basketball and having insomnia. Not necessarily in that order!

𝟮. How did your get into music?

I don't think there was a 'A-Ha!" moment that I could think of. Music has been a part of my life since... always. My dad sings and plays guitar. Same as my oldest sister. I've been singing since I was a little kid. Studied music theory from early childhood. Had my first band at 13 and went to college to study Audio Engineering and Music Production right after finishing high school. Went on to study Baroque composing. The rest is history.

𝟯. Who are your biggest influences?

I'm always very careful of confusing the artists I like vs. the artists who have actually influenced me. I see a lot of musicians making that mistake; I used to do it all the time! While I'm a massive Stevie Wonder fan, I can't say I have been influenced by him much.

Now that I'm older, I can truly say I'm heavily influenced by early Genesis, Queen, Yes, Toto, John Williams and Astor Piazzolla. You could listen to my music and scrutinize it and you could find bits from all of those.

4. What are your goals in the music industry?

Is world domination an option? No? I could settle for Europe.

I don't think I have specific goals in the industry. I'm equal parts a composer, audio engineer and producer. I am a mixing engineer by trade, and I make music because that's WHO I am.

It would be silly to deny I dream about stardom, but being honest, I make music because it makes me happy and because it allows me to pour my emotions into something tangible.

I produce other musicians because there's nothing more satisfying than grabbing an idea, a melody, a concept and make it an album.

So, let's put all that together, and by law of averages, between World Domination and making music because I enjoy it, I'd say a Grammy.

Either as a musician, or as an engineer. That's somewhat feasible.

5. If you could choose a location to perform at, what would it be?

One of my dreams is to have my music played by a Symphonic Orchestra. I don't even have to play! I'd be happy just to sit back and have the musicians perform it.

Where? Doesn't matter. The Concert Hall should be large enough to fill my friends, family and fans. So... not that big ;)

6. What is your all-time favorite song?

Does anyone really have ONE all-time favorite song? Man, I don't think I could choose. But if forced, I would say the one track that is consistently there cheering me up and could not get tired of is Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now'

7. Most embarrassing moment?

Nothing comes to mind, really. Not because a lack of embarrassing moments, but keep in mind you're talking to a person who was full-blown ADHD as a kid. My entire LIFE is an embarrassing moment!

Fortunately, I grew up to be a fun-loving person so I don't take myself too seriously. Takes a lot of effort to embarrass me nowadays!

8. Proudest accomplishment?

I would say the creation of my album "Atypical".

Making an album amidst a pandemic is hard. Making an album amidst a pandemic while having ADHD is harder. Making an album ABOUT ADHD amidst a pandemic while having ADHD was one of the toughest yet most gratifying things I’ve done.

9. What is something about you that might surprise someone who knows you the best?

I don't think I could surprise those who know me the best. If I could, they wouldn't know me so well.

I couldn't mention my ADHD anymore 'cause it wouldn't surprise anyone: I made an album about it.

Okay, what about this: I am only 95% human. The other 5% is synthetic. I have so much titanium in my body I am THIS close of being a Cyborg!

𝟭𝟬. What is your dream collaboration?

For years, I've said "I can't die before playing with Stevie Wonder on an album, either his or mine". Won't change a 20-years-old answer now, so I'll go with that.
